Saturday October 6th will be a Caltrans Extreme Maintenance Day. The canyon will be closed to normal folks, but PLA members will be allowed to pass. Make sure to bring your membership card. We will be helping the tree trimming crew take care of trimming trees along the fence at Brightside Yard. Annual crossing signal inspections for all crossings are scheduled to occur over two Saturdays; January 26th and February 2nd. On January 26th we will lubricate all wig-wags, bells, and gate motors. This will require the use of the boom truck. On February 2nd we will preform the remaining annual tests and inspections including cleaning all flashing light assemblies. Inspections have been scheduled and are on the calender through December 2013. These include all monthly, quarterly, annual, and 4-year inspections.
Annual crossing signal inspections for all crossings are scheduled to occur over two Saturdays; February 4th and February 11th. On February 4th we will do all annual inspections/maintenance except for lubricating the wig-wags, bells, and gate motors. This will occur on February 11th, which is when we will also conduct our monthly inspections. |

RWP Training will be held at 8:00AM on June 9th and again on June 23rd in the White House. All Signal Department members that work near the track are required to attend.
