In 2008 the Therma Corporation generously donated a semi-truck trailer which was part of a multiple-unit mobile clean-room facility for manufacturing pipes used in semiconductor processing plant construction. The trailer is insulated and equipped with an electrical system, lighting, air conditioning, built-in vacuum cleaner, doors, windows, skylights, and even a HEPA filtration system.
So far our remodeling has consisted of removing the HEPA filtration system, painted the ceiling, relocated the fluorescent light fixtures from the walls to the ceiling, and rewiring the lights. When completed this trailer will become our new Signal Shop.
