Signal Bridge

The ATSF signal bridge located at the east end of Gateley, California at MP 1186.2 was saved from being scrapped thanks to the dedicated efforts of former Santa Fe conductor Randy Driskell and Craig Cherry of DC Metals along with help from the BNSF.  This all riveted construction style of bridge (built by Illinois Steel) was once very common during the steam era.  But railroads are removing these old relics as signal systems are upgraded and soon they will be a fixture of the past.  Our plan is to restore the bridge and locate it at the east end of our Brightside yard.
