Annual crossing signal inspections for all crossings are scheduled to occur over two Saturdays; February 5th and February 12th.

Inspections have been scheduled and are on the calender through July. While working at our Bond St. crossing a rail bird was noticed cruising down a rail. Signalero James approached the bird with the intention of welcoming it to the NCRy. Instead the bird attacked James’s finger causing it to bleed. It was soon obvious that this bird was from out-of-town and was immediately asked to leave the area. Please use caution should you be approached by this bird.
The 2010 Train of Lights (TOL) is just about here. Many of us will be busy supporting the TOL during November and December. Except for monthly/quarterly signal inspections, there won’t be much signal related work performed until January. For more details about TOL electrician duty see the TOL page under Events.
